About Us:

Antengo's founding mission revolves around creating and strengthening the bonds between people and their communities. This comes in many ways. First off, we hope to empower individuals and groups to connect with the people around them, in spreading the word about community needs, letting folks know how they can help, and organizing action in support of specific projects.

For example, with Antengo's launch in San Diego, we partnered with Stayclassy.org to raise over $1,000 for the Campaign for Abandoned Youth (homeless youth relief effort in San Diego), driving donations through Antengo's mobile app! This summer, we will be partnering with Rock n Renew, a non-profit spreading sustainability through music, on a New York City Healthy Food For Healthy Communities program. We are working with inner-city students in NYC, NJ and Southern California who are on welfare and have very little access to healthy food. We are teaching these students how to grow their own food, and providing them with tools to start community gardens in their neighborhood, and then sell the food from street stands.

We have experienced first-hand the disconnect between how we live our lives today and the tools available to enable person-to-person exchange of goods and services. Through Antengo, we are leading the evolution of traditional classifieds, making buying, selling, and bartering more convenient, efficient, transparent, and, of course, rewarding. We began our journey in San Diego, and are now available in most major metropolitan areas!
